Construction site photo and video, by an engineer who knows the field

Based in Clermont-Ferrand, QR-cadre films and photographs your projects: the resources deployed, the skills at work, the progress. With a schedule of rates so you can price the job yourself as soon as a site is identified.

  • Engineer by training
  • Drone, prefecture declaration included

A field perspective

The site first, the image second

Before QR-cadre, there was a career. Mathieu Randon worked as a design-office engineer, in daily contact with public works projects, project owners and contractors.

More than ten years in this world, from engineering school to professional practice, gave him a hands-on understanding of a site: its deadlines, constraints, risks, crews and real value. He knows what, on the ground, truly deserves to be shown.

Why film a construction site

Images that showcase, explain and prove

A well-filmed site shows what a report doesn’t say: the organisation, the resources, the know-how. And it shows it to the people who decide.

Before the flight

A preliminary study for every drone flight

Before take-off, the flight is planned on a map and documented. The study is attached to the prefecture declaration and handed to you: everyone knows where, when and how the drone will fly over your site.

  1. Location and mission the site, the date, the time slot, the maximum height, the regulatory framework
  2. Airspace and constraints the zoning, the obstacles, and the measures planned in response
  3. Flight plan and schedule take-off point, flight area, marked-off perimeter, safety induction with your site foreman
  4. Your request the reference view and the angle to reproduce

FAQs from construction companies

Is editing included in video filming?

No. Filming is the time spent on site to capture clean, usable shots: €300 excl. VAT per half day for the short vertical format, €500 excl. VAT for the medium to long horizontal format. Editing is charged for the actual time spent, €75 excl. VAT per hour. The drone video pack, however, includes its 4K edit.

How is travel calculated?

It is free anywhere in the Puy-de-Dôme. Elsewhere, €0.80 excl. VAT per kilometre, round trip from our Clermont-Ferrand base, as for all our business clients. The rate covers the vehicle, equipment, fuel, insurance and downtime. Tolls, parking or special access are re-invoiced at cost, if any.

Who handles the drone permits?

A preliminary flight study is prepared for every job and attached to the prefecture declaration. The declaration is included for any booking made at least 30 days ahead; for rush jobs, a €50 excl. VAT admin fee applies. Site formalities and access permits remain the client’s responsibility. The flight is always subject to regulations, weather and safety: the earlier the request, the easier it is to schedule.

Can you follow a site over several months?

Yes. Several visits at the key moments of the project, priced from the schedule, then a summary video showing how the site evolved. It is often the most useful format for a project owner.

Can the images be used for a tender or a public consultation?

That is one of their best uses: technical bid, references, public meeting, presentation to elected officials, trade fair. The formats are planned for these uses from the shoot onwards.

Do you work outside Auvergne?

Yes, anywhere in France. Travel is simply priced per kilometre from Clermont-Ferrand, like the rest of the schedule.

Is this schedule a quote?

No, it is a clear working basis to plan ahead and get internal approval. The quote or engagement letter uses these unit prices and adjusts them to the real context: access, safety, turnaround, volume of deliverables.
